Independence won 51-42 against Reedy on Tuesday with the help of CJ Thomas, who scored 15 points. The knights seized an early lead with an 18-point first quarter, eventually achieving a 33-23 lead by halftime. Two other players also racked up double digit scores for Independence. Malik McMurrary contributed 12 points and Mitchell McCurtain put up 10 points. Also chipping in for Independence were Caden Johnson and Rhino Hernandez.
